One of the most successful types of backlinking is the guest blog or guest article. This involves giving another blog or article site a free post in exchange for a backlink.
Guest blogging is big in today’s competitive backlinking arena. Guest blogging can give a site new opportunities for expanded readership and increased product sales. Guest blogging also builds contacts and rapport in the online community.
There are several ways to find compatible sites for your guest blog posts or articles. The most common way is to search for sites that are related to your product and simply email them and ask for an opportunity to submit.
Find sites that do not consider your product as competition. Those sites will simply refuse or ignore a request. If the role was reversed, your company would do the same. The rule to follow is to find sites within the same niche as your product.
For optimal results, find sites that have a good pagerank. Look for sites with a pagerank of three and higher to approach. Begin your search for sites and blogs with Technorati or Google.
Email the appropriate sites and ask to submit a free quality article in exchange for two or three backlinks to your site. Assure them that the article is related to their site and will be well-received by their members. Point out the similarities in the two sites and highlight the market the two businesses share.
Keep a stock of good articles on stock. The cheapest and easiest way to get articles written is to sue Fiverr.com. For $5, you can get an original article written. Send your prospective guest blog the first paragraph of the article, along with an assurance that the article is 100% original and has passed copyscape.
Or, ask what the blog owner would like an article written about, and offer to do it for a link back to your site. Then get the article written on Fiverr.com.
Another source for blogs to write for is Bloggerlinkup.com. You can even post your own blog on there and request material. And best of all, it’s FREE!
3 Methods to Get Backlinks-#2 The Forum Method

This is exceptionally effective if you are in the online marketing niche. By now, you should know the most popular webmaster forums. These are;
Now the great thing with posting in these forums is that you get to do the following:
(1) You get to learn a lot about Internet marketing
(2) You get to tap the Internet marketing market in one click.
All you need to do is advertise your webpage on your signature. Of course, you have to contribute some information first. The more posts you have, the more backlink juice you will get from your signature. Now if you are thinking that this will not work because you are getting some links from the same domain. Think again. By doing this, my webpage has literally zoomed to the first page in one day. Maybe it is all because the page ranks of these forums are high and getting backlinks from their pages are okay.
“But I am not in the Internet marketing niche”, you say. Don’t fret because you can still use this method even if you are NOT in the online marketing niche. How? Well, search for a relevant forum and start posting. Now before you complain that it will take too long, think of it as an investment. Posting in forums is not a waste of time. Because most of the time, you are building your reputation in your niche as you continue to post. And the best part is that you get some relevant backlinks in the process.
Now if you are a really busy person and you do not have the time, I have asuggestion for you. I will suggest that you buy some forum backlinks. This may take some money out of your pocket, but for $5 on fiverr.com, you can get 7000 backlinks. Talk about instant backlink building!
Of course, those backlinks will need to indexed and you can do that by pinging them regularly with PingEzee. And to make sure those forum backlinks are valid and stay indexed, you can use Backlink Validator to check them.
3 Methods to Get Backlinks-#1 The Squidoo Method
Posted: April 8, 2011 | Author: Jack | Filed under: Backlinks | Tags: Altavista, Anchor Text, Google, High Quality, Internet Marketing, Internet World, Lot, Other Search Engines, Plexo, Plexos, Quite Some Time, Squidoo Lens, Traffic, Yahoo | Leave a comment »Squidoo Method of Getting Backlinks
This method will consist of using a very popular web 2.0 website called Squidoo. If you have been in the Internet Marketing world for quite some time then you should know the power of web 2.0 sites. These sites can bring in a lot of traffic. And the best part? Google and other search engines simply love them.
Now before you click ‘close’ thinking that this is another ‘how-to-create-a-squidoo-lens’ report, don’t because this is nothing like that. In fact, I will teach you how to get backlinks from Squidoo WITHOUT creating a lens. What this report will teach you is how to use Squidoo through one of its most popular features, the link plexo. Through this method, you can get high quality backlinks to your site. I call them ‘high quality’ because;
(1) they can contain the anchor text that you desire
(2) they are influenced by the high PR of Squidoo.com and
(3) they get indexed quickly (mine even got indexed overnight)
Now from here you may be wondering how you can find these Squidoo lenses with link plexos that are relevant to your site. Well, that’s easy. All you need to do is type “keyword site:squidoo.com + 0 points”. Now click on the results. Scroll down and look for the link plexo. This will look like a series of links that have “add to this list” and “grab this list” at the bottom.
Now click “add to this list” and key in your URL. After you put that, you will be asked for a title and description. Fill this in and you are done. Now proceed back to your results and click on the other lens and do the process again. And that is how easy it is to get a high quality backlink. Now you may wonder if this will be effective. But even if the backlinks are not indexed by Google (because Google change their rules all the time), they are still picked up by other search engines such as Yahoo and Altavista. And believe me, these backlinks contribute a lot to your rankings on Google.
And to make sure they get indexed, you can use PingEzee to ping them and Backlink Validator to make sure they remain valid.
Real Backlinking Is About Variety

Think about it this way. Imagine that the search engines are crawling your website. They will then track where your backlinks are coming from. While some may argue that as long as the backlinks do not come from the same domain, they are okay. However, I have found that the more varied your linking methods are, the higher the search engines will respect and rank you. The idea is that the search engines want to see that real people are linking back to your website and they are linking to you because they value your content and not because these sites are created by you in your pursuit to build your search engine position.
Just imagine a dozen of accounts with the same name linking to a particular website. Wouldn’t that raise a red flag?

Whether you are an SEO expert who is managing multiple link building campaigns, or you are just trying to build an online presence, you will benefit from using the Backlink Validator. Backlink Validator makes sure that your backlinks are valid, which helps to increase search engine rankings for a personal blog, ecommerce site or a localized small business website.
Coupled with the software PingEzee, Backlink Validator is a powerful tool in your arsenal.
Links are dropped all the time, whether accidentally during website maintenance or intentionally by dishonest people. When that happens, you need to know about it. Thats why I created this software. The main purpose of Backlink Validator is to verify your back links, which ensures you never get taken advantage of, ripped-off or scammed by link exchange partners, SEO companies, or link building firms. It automatically checks every link you create, buy, or trade, to make sure they are still working. For instance, if you buy some links or use a VA to create them for you, or even create them yourself, it makes sure that they are still there and working.
